Souk Ukaz 2004 artistic performances have returned to the enchanting venue, The Amman Citadel, which is the original location selected upon the inception of Souk Ukaz. Souk Ukaz 2001 & 2002 were previously held at The Amman Citadel with great success. The Amman Citadel towers over the city with rich history and culture where one can find traces of a Byzantine church, the remains of the Umayyad palace complex, as well as a Roman temple thought to have been the temple of Hercules.

Souk Ukaz will continue to be an icon in the cultural enrichment of this location.
