Department of Dramatic Arts, Chulalongkorn University (Bangkok)
He started teaching at Chulalongkorn University in 1992. A recipient of
Fulbright scholarship and Asian Cultural Council fellowship, he finished his
MA (Theatre) at Northwestern University in 1996. He has translated and
adapted 10 European and American plays for Thai productions, four of which
he directed. He has presented his academic papers at theatre, performance
studies, SE Asian studies and post colonial studies conferences in
Canterbury, Lyon, Amsterdam, Tempe, Singapore, London, Casablanca, etc.
Right now, he is completing his PhD (Theatre Practice) at the University of
Michigan; contributing entries on Modern Thai Theatre to a forthcoming
Encyclopedia of Asian Theatre; as well as writing theatre/ dance/ culture
reviews for two magazines and two newspapers in Bangkok. |
