PROMADHATTAVEDI Chatvichai (Mr) Vice-chairman of the Executive Committee Art and Culture Foundation of Bangkok Director of Bangkok’s Bhirasri Institute of Modern Art in the 70’s and 80’s, overseeing contemporary art activities ranging from the visual arts, music to drama, and presently a board member of the Institute’s Foundation. A founding member of the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, and currently a board member of the Bangkok Opera.

Vice-chairman of the Executive Committee for the Art and Culture Foundation of Bangkok and its Acting Director, involving in the promotion of organisational framework for culture, for example, the setting-up of a cultural net-work in conjunction with the Office of the Contemporary Art and Culture, the Ministry of Culture; setting-up a web-site for art and culture with the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology; setting-up an art and design programme for public hospitals. Co-chairman of the organising committee for seminar on art, history and conservation, a programme for the Centenary Celebration of the Siam Society. Sometime member of the panel for UNESCO’s Asia and Pacific Heritage Award. Managing Director of Pro-Space Company, a design company with portfolio of works ranging from hotel and hospital interior design, contemporary vernacular houses, to designs for the stage.
