Ruetsch, Dr. Brigitte (CEO Ruetsch and Partners Consulting) Dr. Brigitte Ruetsch is owner and managing director of Ruetsch&Partner Consulting. Since 2000, she has worked intensively on the question of Switzerland’s image. She has pursued academic studies on the subject of image in the USA and the UK for PRS as part of a programme of the University of Bern. Her studies on Switzerland’s image in these countries attracted considerable interest and she has since been contracted by PRS for scientific consulting on projects concerned with the subject of image. |

Together with academic papers such as that delivered to the trade forum, OSEC, Brigitte Ruetsch has published a number of articles on the subject of the significance of a country’s image. Having graduated in Business Management, Brigitte Ruetsch was employed at the Institute for Marketing and Business Management of the University of Bern from 1995-2002 where as well as research and teaching, she monitored a number of projects (in a consulting capacity) on different aspects of marketing and business management. Her current consulting activity is primarily focused on studies and concepts on country image, local and regional marketing, situation analyses, the development of strategic marketing concepts (segmentation, positioning), and in particular the drafting and implementation of communication strategies. She is a visiting lecturer at the University of Fribourg. From 1999 to 2004, Brigitte Ruetsch was president of the Vereinigung Berner Wirtschaftswissenschafter (Bern Association of Economists and Social Scientists). |
