Small, Andrew
Director of the Foreign Policy Centre's Beijing Office (Beijing)

Andrew Small is the China programme manager at the Foreign Policy Centre, and is based in Beijing. He established the Centre’s ‘China and Globalisation’ programme, which was launched in Downing Street by Tony Blair and Wen Jiabao in May 2004. Previously, he worked on global, regional and national public diplomacy strategies for different European governments and was an ‘ESU Scholar’ in the office of Senator Edward Kennedy in the summer of 2001.


 


He has a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University. He recently published a report entitled ‘Preventing the Next Cold War: A View from Beijing’
