WANG Shih I (Prof) Chairman of the Department of Chinese Drama Chinese Culture University (Taipei) Wang Shihi-i is professor of drama, an Aristotlian scholar and one of the top calligrahers in his country. He was born in 1939 in Lian-yun City, Jiangsu, China, and immigrated to Taiwan in 1949. Upon graduations freom National Chengchi Univ. and the Institute of Arts, CCU., he continued his studies of the P h. D. programs at Athens Univ. Greece, and Oxford Univ. and St. John Univ. USA as well. Now he is chairman of Chinese Drama Dept. and he has served as chairman of English and Drama Depts. director of Arts Institute, dean of the College of Arts of the CCU. His important works are On Aristotle’s Poitics（2000）, and Aristotle’s Poitics（2003）, with original Greek text, Chinese traslation, commentory and notes.
